Cut Only Service

Our cut only services are ideally suited to higher volume orders. Many photographers and artists already enjoy excellent buying prices for their bulk matboard, and by having the orders sent directly to us you can further minimize your per item cost with our excellent “cut only” prices. Tell us what you would like to do and we will advise on the most economical method of cutting your mats.

Cut Only Service

Applies when matboard is supplied to us either cut to final size, or as sheets.
Some suppliers, such as X-PRESS GRAPH-X on 03 9585 4455, are able to pre-cut your mat requirements to final sizes, such as 8 x 10's, 11 x 14's, 16 x 20's etc. You can then have these sent directly to us and we will cut your window requirements.
Prices are based on a "per opening" cutting charge. When we cut from a sheet, the outside cut of each individual mat is also charged as an opening.
Window quantity, size and shape to suit your requirements. A once off formatting fee may be charged for multi window mats.
When mats are supplied cut to final size, windows must be a minimum of 30mm from the mat edge to allow for clamping, while "V" grooves must be a minimum of 45mm.
If assembly and taping of multiple mats is required, a small fee will be charged per extra mat.
You can have your mat order sent directly to us; we will store it for you until required, at no charge.

Priced by the sheet

Per sheet pricing covers any quantity of mats, or number of windows, that can be cut from a single sheet. (1015mm x 810mm)
Applies when the matboard is supplied to us by the sheet.
Ideally suited to cutting small mats, for example 6 x 4's or 5 x 7's, or those with multiple windows, such as memorabilia mats.
Window quantity, size and shape to suit your requirements. A once off formatting fee may be charged for multi window mats.
If assembly and taping of multiple mats is required, a small fee will be charged per extra mat.
You can have your mat order sent directly to us; we will store it for you until required, at no charge.
